It's a small shop so people are mainly coming to pick up, but it's well worth the drive. They were one of the few places open on our snow day and boy were we excited to find them. -Jalapeño cheese kolache 5/5 -Beef jalapeño croissant 5/5 -Glaze donut 4/5 ( home cooked, very different than chains) -White donut with sprinkles 3/5 the sprinkles were a bit much and I didn't love the icing -Apple fritter 5/5 The service was quick and friendly. Not my best photos, but just trust me.

I am shocked that I've lived in Spring Branch for a year and am just now trying Summit. They have a great selection of items with a variety of options. The Boudin had a great flavor to it, but the texture was a bit softer and mushier than I expected. I also really enjoyed the Sausage and Cheese, but wished they used a little more cheese to level out the ratio. The bread they use on their kolaches is extremely soft and somewhat sweet, complimenting the meat and cheese inside. The Chocolate Glazed Donut was textbook, with a nice consistency and texture, good flavor with a balanced level of sweet.

I've tried this place about three different times. I love how they are consistently the same. I usually get the jalapeño sausage with cheese. Man I love the chapel hill sausage. You get more bang for your buck. I would've given them five stars but I ordered a blended latte and it really didn't taste like it had coffee. Manly ice. I was disappointed that I spent $4.99. I would recommend for breakfast. They have so many options of donuts, kolaches and treats.
WOW, they have the biggest and BEST breakfast tacos and kolaches I've ever had. I'm so glad I stopped by after dropping my kid off at summer camp. I originally ordered a boudin kolache but then I saw that they had tacos as well. I ordered a sausage, potato, egg, and cheese taco, and also got a coke. It came to about $9. The taco was so hot and fresh and it tastes amazing. I was too full to eat the kolache so I saved it for lunch. The boudin is authentic, not that store bought JD's stuff. Wow. So good. I wish I had a picture of the kolache but I ate it too fast. Lol
Breakfast Tacos are the best! Make sure to call ahead as they are made to order. Plenty of Donuts to choose from, friendly astmosphere.
